Privacy Policy

Compass Transportation Group LLC, dba Compass Limousine, (“Compass”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to the privacy of your personally identifiable information.

Collection of Information Compass collects information about you in two ways

  • First, you may give us information by entering it on one of our websites or providing it to us in another way. Such information may include personally identifiable information such as name, address, phone numbers, and email address.
  • Second, when you use a Compass website, we may collect certain information about you and your use of the site. For example, Compass identifies the domain names and IP addresses of visitors to our website, but this is not linked to personally identifiable information. Compass also may use cookies to make our service and website more effective. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer by your web browser. A cookie allows the Compass server to recognize whether you have visited our site before and may store user preferences and other information. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being set.

Use of Information Compass uses the information we collect to complete transactions and fulfill requests for services, as well as to deliver to you confirmations, account information, notifications, billing information, and similar data. We also use the information we collect to improve your user experience and the quality of our products and services. We may also use this information to send you special offers or promotions, information about new products and services, and other news about our transportation services. Although we hope you will find these offers and updates of interest, you may opt out of receiving them by sending an email to optout@compasslimousine.com with “optout” in the subject line. Promotional emails will also have instructions for opting out of that type of communication in the future.

Sharing information with third parties Compass will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties outside of Compass, except when we have a good-faith belief that doing so is required by law, court order, subpoena or other legal process or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Compass, our employees, or our passengers or customers. If ownership of Compass or one of our companies were to change as a result of a merger, acquisition, sale, or other transaction, your Compass information might be transferred. If such a transfer would result in a material change in the use of your Compass information, you will be provided notice about the choices you have to decline to permit such a transfer.

Protecting Information We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information. When you purchase services through a Compass website, we use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt personal information as it is transmitted between you and Compass website(s). Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular Malware Scanning. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.  If you want to find out what personally identifiable information Compass has about you and/or to update or change that information, you can contact us by email at info@compasslimousine.com.

Changes to Policy Compass may update this Policy from time to time, and so you should review this Policy periodically. If we make a material change to the Policy, you will be provided with appropriate notice.
